Four points to note when a small concrete pump is in operation
Update:2025-09-29

Concrete transfer pump plays an important role in construction operations. In order to ensure the safety and efficiency of construction, operators need to pay attention to the following key points

1 (1)

1. Cleaning work after the construction is completed

After the operation is completed, all the concrete in the hopper and the pipeline must be discharged, and then the pump, hopper and pipeline should be flushed. When flushing pipelines with compressed air, no one should stand within 10 meters in front of the pipeline outlet end. It is best to collect the flushed cleaning balls and sand and gravel particles with a metal mesh basket or the like. The solidified parts of the concrete can be removed with a scraper to ensure the safety and convenience of the next work.

2. Daily maintenance and lubrication

Before use, check the working condition of the electrical equipment of the concrete pump, whether the instruments are working properly, and whether the status of the hopper filter screen and safety protection devices is normal. After the operation, lubricating oil should be added to each lubrication point and oil should be applied for rust prevention.

3. Position of the control switch

All control switches should be returned to the neutral position (or off position). At the end of the pump and pipeline, audio equipment or light signal devices should be installed to facilitate communication.

4. Correct operation and pumping process

Concrete delivery pumps must be operated by personnel who have passed strict examinations and obtained "operation certificates". Before the pumping is completed, it is necessary to estimate the amount of concrete in the conveying pipe, understand the requirements of the pouring surface, and grasp the right time to stop the pump. After the pumping is completed, the concrete in the conveying pipe needs to be conveyed to the working surface by water pressure.
